About

We are a group of parents, teachers, and community members dedicated to facilitating increased engagement and activism in the Prince George’s County Public Schools. Through blogging, social media, and face-to-face meetings, we provide parents and teachers the information and support they need to become advocates for positive change in the school system.

What started with a few neighborhood moms has expanded into a diverse group of current and former teachers, parents, and concerned citizens from across the county. We are an independent, all-volunteer organization with no financial ties to any organization, elected official, or political candidate.

Though we do give parents support and information, we do not give legal advice or get involved with personnel decisions (i.e. hiring and firing).

Read more about our Vision, or visit the Get Involved page to learn more about what we do and how you can join us. We do not collect membership fees.
